Ellen is the owner of ShaFox Weddings & Events. She is a Professional Bridal Consultant™ and a Certified Meeting Professional (CMP). Ellen has served in several positions with the Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter of Meeting Professionals International, including President. She has also served on the boards of the Sales Management and Marketing Association, the Hospitality Sales Association, and Business and Professional Women. The Honorable Ellen Fox was designated a Kentucky Colonel by Governor Fletcher. She is an active member of the Association of Bridal Consultants.
Her experience as an event planner for thirteen years allows Ellen to see all sides of planning an event. She has traveled across the country participating in international conferences on the details of planning successful events, such as; design, trends, creative budgeting and destination events. Ellen has been the featured speaker in several industry panel discussions on event trends and meeting execution. Her weddings and professional advice have been featured locally on WAVE 3 Listens Talk Show, WFPL State of the Affairs, the Voice-Tribune, Courier-Journal, Bardstonian Magazine, Louisville Wedding Planner and My Kentucky Wedding.com. Ellen has planned events for as many as 5000 guests and as intimate as 5. She prides herself on satisfying everyone in the event from the bride to the vendors. To her, the wedding industry is a partnership.
The driving force in creating ShaFox was Ellen's passion for weddings and the emotions surrounding them. Her approach to weddings is that they are a bridge to a lifetime bond. She is committed not just to the planning of the wedding day, but helping couples use the entire experience to create a solid foundation on which to begin their life together. In her own words, "I enjoy seeing the bride and groom, along with their families, relish the entire wedding process. They are wonderful celebrations worthy of special attention and personal detail. I hope to share that with each of them."
Ellen is a graduate of the University of Louisville and former Ladybird. She is married to Andy Fox and has two beautiful daughters, Elizabeth and Hannah and one son, John Louis.
Anissa Snyder- Brown is Managerof Event Services for ShaFox. She brings to the company 18 years of experience as a special events planner. Her vast knowledge in fashion and design bring a fresh perspective in creating the visions brides desire for their wedding. Anissa received her undergraduate degree in Fashion Management from the prestigious design school, Incarnate Word University in San Antonio, Texas coupled with a degree in Marketing.
She has traveled the country planning corporate events, fashion shows, and charity functions. She spent time as a retail buyer with Jacobson's and was a national make-up artist with Saks Fifth Avenue and Neiman Marcus. This unique experience gives Anissa an insider's track to truly understanding every element of weddings from the organization to the design concept.
Anissa has great passion for planning weddings and has been assisting on events with ShaFox for six years now. She recently married Tim Brown, where the ShaFox team had a blast planning a wedding for one of their own!
In her spare time, she enjoys singing in the choir, serving on various church committees, and spending time outdoors on her family's farm.

Katie Holton is our Executive Director of Sales and Events. She joined ShaFox to continue her passion for planning weddings. For several years, Katie was the wedding coordinator at the Frazier International History Museum. During her time at the museum, she planned over 70 wedding events. Her vast experience in planning brings a wealth of additional talent to the ShaFox team. Katie truly enjoys working with couples and their families as they come together to celebrate the bride and groom.

Wedding planning has been Katie’s passion since her own engagement. She was engaged in Vienna, Austria while at a poker tournament with her husband – FUN! At that time, she was pursuing her law degree. As with many brides, she caught the wedding planning bug, and decided to switch careers making event planning her profession. She recently received her designation as a Professional Bridal Consultant™ from the Association of Bridal Consultants and is an active member in the Kentucky chapter.
Katie is a graduate of Bellarmine University. She is a Louisville native and lives in St. Matthews with her husband Johnny and their two pugs.

Meeting Professionals International
Crystalyn Noland is our Director of Event Services. She originally joined me as an event coordinator at Jillian’s Entertainment while in her last year of college. After several years in event management, she and her husband became entrepreneurs in the restaurant industry opening several successful businesses around Louisville. As owners, they handled the hundreds of logistics involved in daily operations, but also hosted numerous social and corporate events. Her fondest memory was hosting dinner for Tom Brady and players from the New England Patriots.
Originally from Minnesota, Crystalyn decided to move back home to be closer to her family. Little did she realize that Louisville was really where her heart wanted to be and within a year had moved back to the River City where for the last three years has been working with ShaFox. Her calm presence and thorough detail and follow up help make each of our events undeniably successful.

Crystalyn, also a former University of Louisville Ladybird, is married to Tony Noland and lives in Oldham County with their three children, Logan, Gavin and daughter Violet (who is one month older than my son). She loves watching her boys play lacrosse, soccer and football. For fun, she loves to cook, host parties, and is kinda crazy about working out.
